CALCULATING TABLE SKIRTS
HOW TO:
SQUARE | RECTANGLES | ROUND | STAGE SKIRTS
SQUARE & RECTANGLE TABLES:
ROUND TABLES:
Formula:
P(Perimeter) = 2(L + W)
Multiply the desired drop by 2 and add to
diameter of the table.
Formula:
Circumference = D x π
EXAMPLE:
A customer has a 6’ length x 30” width x 30” height table,
and they want skirting all around with a full drop.
What’s needed?
• Measure the length and multiply by 2.
• Measure the width and multiply by 2.
• Add them together for the perimeter.
• Round to the next 6” increment if needed.
• Add an extra 6” for some overlap.
EXAMPLE:
A customer has a 6’ diameter x 30” height
table and they want skirting all around with a
full drop.
What’s needed?
• Measure the diameter.
• Multiply the diameter by pi(3.1416).
• Convert inches to feet.
• Round to the next 6” increment.
• Add an extra 6” for some overlap.
Circumference = D x π
• 72” x π = 226.19”
• Expressed as feet:
226.19 / 12 = 18.85 (18’ 10 1/5”)
• Now we need to round to the next 6”
increment.
P(Perimeter) = 2(L + W)
• P=2 (72”+30”)
• P= 144”+60”
• P=204”
Skirt needed: 17” L x 30” H
with 6” overlap: 17’6” L x 30” H
Skirt needed: 19” L x 30” H
with 6” overlap: 19’6” L x 30” H
TABLE SKIRTING
• Attaches to the table with clips, which have a hook-side tab on the face and attach directly to the table
over the topper.
• Skirting header is lined with color-coordinating soft-side strip that attaches easily to the clips.
• Made 29” for standard 30” high tables, or 41” high for 42” high counters.
• Price includes BV Clips (for .75” table edges) and EV Clips (for drop edge tables).
